Common Questions

I want to help you by answering common questions;

  1. Price: The price of every kitten includes is for pet only (no breeding rights). My price includes spay/neuter, shots, vet exam, health certificate, TICA paperwork, vaccine record, travel carrier, microchip, health warranty, and FREE 30 day trial of TRUPANION health insurance (immediate coverage once activated). Don’t pay the same price for less. 

  2. Payment: Prior to any payment, both parties will sign a sales contract through DocuSign® signature service. Yes, I pay for a reputable signing service. A holding fee will be required to hold your kitten. Zelle® money request can be sent to you for the holding fee, $15 dollar charge per transfer. Full payment will be cash in person or by bank wire transfer. (I do not accept checks in person, monthly installments or PayPal)

  3. Transport:  I am located in Knoxville, Tennessee. I look forward to meeting all owners personally at my home for pickup. Also happy to meet you at the Knoxville (TYS) airport at no charge. Personal delivery service is possible but is expensive.

  4. Visits: I reserve home visits for pick-up of your kitten only. TICA ethics require that I never allow my kittens to leave before 10 weeks of age. The kitten’s well-being is my priority.  Remember my kittens are exposed to kids, dogs, different surfaces, toys, and noises to gain a well-rounded personality. I insures my kittens are little love bugs when they leave here. My social media accounts have vast content dating back to show I am real.

Breeder Memberships

I am a Savannah Cat Association member in good standing. I have provided all TICA paperwork to SCA to prove I am a verified breeder. As a breeding member, I pledge that I understand the principles of integrity, fairness, and respect for potential kitten owners and fellow breeders. I agree;

  1. Care: My cats and kittens are getting the best possible veterinarian care, testing, up-to-date immunizations, attention, and the living environment available. I will try to make every kitten adoption one that best fits the situation for the kitten as well as the adoptive parents. If an issue arises, I will work with the kitten’s new family to ensure they are happy.  I will always take back all kittens or cats that I have placed if necessary.

  2. Breed Standard: I have agreed to follow the Savannah Cat Standard as set down by TICA and will only place breeders that meet this standard.

  3. Contracts: I agree to honor all contracts as written. 

I am a TICA member in good standing. Verify your breeder is TICA registered by asking for their membership card, their voluntary code of ethics, and the TICA.org website listing.

  1. TICA Membership: Proof that a breeder is TICA registered however this can be done by any person and does not in any way prove being reputable, even scammers are registering with TICA.

  2. TICA Voluntary Code Of Ethics: The voluntary code of ethics is for breeders that voluntarily want to sign and agree to TICA's codes by; being a member in good standing, agreeing to breed discriminately, and also finding good homes for the kittens.

  3. TICA Listing: In order to purchase a breeder classified ad (TICA Listing), You must be a TICA member in good standing and a member of the Breed Section or Working Group for the breed you want to advertise.
